Founder's Story
Ken Dougherty has been a car nut since he was three years old. Long before he could read, he was riding shotgun around Houston, calling out the year and make of every car they passed. By ten, he'd taught himself to drive.
In 1990, he turned that lifelong obsession into a business — built with his wife Kathy as co-founder, and built on a single idea: honesty. Fifty years around collector cars, 36 of them as Auto Collectors Garage, and 1,200 cars placed on six continents later, that's still the whole point.
